Topic: tracking/calibration issue? Print not correct

When laying down my raft.

It's as though the co ordinates are messed up. It almost trails back the same route after traveling toward the back of the printer.

You can see what I mean in the picture.

The pattern should be uniform. Move left, then diagonal back. then down. diagonal forward.
Instead, on the return forward, it goes back, then forward over the same bit, then diagonal forward almost on the same bath it just went down.

What's weird is at the front, it is fine, and its the same direction?

Any ideas?

The pattern should be the same on both ends.

The wire loom tested continuity, bearing moves easily enough

Re: tracking/calibration issue? Print not correct

The question is why use a raft? If your Z height is calibrated correctly you should not need a rant.  But try changing the orientation of the object or a different object and see if it matters.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Re: tracking/calibration issue? Print not correct

Some of my prints only have a bit of contact to the bed, the raft gives a better anchor. Also, it helps with looking at the problem, if i try and print an object it just ends up all over, but with the raft it looks like something meaningful.

Thanks for the suggestion, it doesn't matter what file, its always the same return part that messes up. I can't orient the file after exporting due to the .3w extension file not being modifiable. And the raft is created as part of this process, but different shape rafts all act the same (On the return)
