Topic: Solidoodle 2 base model

Anyone else printing with PLA on a base mode SD2 (no heated bed)? It appears to have a 1/2" acrylic print bed that is laser engraved with a pattern that slightly grips the PLA. Works pretty decent until I print about an inch tall, and eventually it breaks loose. I have a ton a experience with ABS, however PLA is new to me. It didn't stick to blue tape at all like my ABS does. Any tips for PLA on a non heated bed?

You could try clean glass.
