Topic: Nobel 1.0 software does not work after software update (Error1021)
"(Error1021) Slicer not found", this message pops up, whenever I use the updated software and does not let proceed to slicing in my newly bought Nobel 1.0

i have the same problem, ive seen this in both win 7 pro and win 10. But for some reason on another win 7 pro computer the latest version 1.1.71 works.
the only solution right now is install version 1.1.5.5, if you need that version, just give me your email and i can send it to you. both version 1.1.6.9 and 1.1.7.1 i get that error message. the thing that sucks with both 6.9/7.1 you can manually generate support along with inner support and lift support.

Forgive me, but the Nobel is an SLA printer meaning it prints in a liquid resin. Why would you need supports when the liquid it's self acts as a support. You also are printing from the top or bottom down so gravity is not an issue like it when you print from bottom or top up?

i thought the same, but you still need supports for certain things, it's weird.

You still need support for SLA, upside down or right side up. If you start a layer that has multiple features that aren't connected to each other in some way, those features can float around in the VAT tub and move themselves out of place.

But dont anyone know how to correct it?I contacted with XYZ, they gave this solution which does not works!!

Nobel 1.0. Please follow the steps as below to resolve the problem.
First of all, please update the software & firmware to the latest version.
Then, Please run the XYZware through an administrator account. Provide two options for you.

2. Right click the XYZware icon, choose properties then “compatibility” and check the “run this program as administrator” and apply.

They told me the same thing in an email, which did not work for me either.
If i can figure out why one of my win 7 pro computers works fine with the latest version 1.1.7.1, i will let you know.

Hi.
I bougth a da vinci 1.0 aio and it will not calibrate the scanner.. (I have Win7)
t can begin the calibration and when it's done, the same error message pops up. (An error occured in the software and Windows is closing Down the xyz software. Windows will let me know if they find an solution to the problem)
I have visited a Copenhagen local reseller of this printer(got mine from England). and they tried my computer on their da vinci 1.0 aio and the same problem occured.
But then they connected their normal computer to their printer, and when connected they updated their software to the latest xyz, and then the same problems occured. They have never experienced any problems before...
I saw that the version they used before the update was 1.3.7.
I wrote support and asked for this version, got it, installed it and now the problem is that the computer is not connected to the printer and that the camera is not found.
I have tried customer support, but they are not very helpfull at all...
Can anyone help me solve these problems so I can calibrate my scanner and start to have fun with it?

I'm not sure but it may be something with Win 7 when I first got mine I couldn't get the scanner to work on Win 7 so I tried it on my other computer with Win 8 and it worked fine and that was with ver 1.1.18

Hi, i recently bought a printer Da vinci Nobel SLA but when i turn on the message appears in the LCD is xyzprinting after six hours does not change or displays the main menu, i installed the program in a pc with W10 and not recognized the printer that´s is for the text in the LCD and no continue to show the menu or is necessary back to other new.
I hope somebody can help thanks.

Hi, I recently got a SLA Nobel 1.0 and it happens the same, it appears a message that the z motor has a problem, but while I try to restart the printer, the LCD just says XYZ PRINTING, I turned it off a lot of times and it worked again but it has happened a lot of times
