Topic: Bed replaced with 5mm Borasilicate glass

I just replaced my existing pitted print bed with 5mm borasilicate glass:

- The heat pad came off OK using acetone, just need to work around it carefully pulling it up as you go.
- I assembled it back into the bed frame with the heat pad underneath it (no glue), the screws and everything worked fine.
- There was enough adjustment in the bed levelling to get it down another 2mm without a problem, this seems to work better as the bed adjustments were continually moving due to a lack of tension on them previously.
- I had been having some issues with apparent hot spots in the prints, the heating seems to be more even now.
- Glass supplier said that 5mm is usually easier and cheaper to get as it is used for more things.

Only thing I would have done differently is to get the top edge chamfered, it now sticks up above the plastic frame.
