Topic: Noticeable Z Banding?

Is anyone else having issues with very noticeable Z banding while using the stock filament and software?

What could be causing it? Because it did not seem to be a problem before I swapped out to the new black filament I got on amazon.

XYZ parts for all of their printers are only available through the XYZ online store. If you don't see it there then it will take a weeks worth of calls and emails to try and get what you want. They do not allow other distributors or companies to sell their parts.

This is gonna sound stupid... but my issue with the banding was apparently caused by the PTFE tubing needing to be trimmed slightly.

I didn't notice any issue with the tubing other than it being a little loose. So I took it out "as show by the xyzware app" and trimmed it just above the line where it was clipped in. Prints are back to how they was when I got the printer now. big_smile
