Topic: Repetier problems on 1.0a

I just slapped Repetier on my Da Vinci 1.0a 3F10A (somehow) and it works nicely. I've already gotten all the axes and the extruder to work, as well as playing Imperial March, but my prints keep sticking to the extruder. No matter what I try (sheet of paper calibration, slow speeds on the first layer), nothing works. Any help is appreciated.

So you mean they are not sticking to the bed then? Try a light coat of aquanet hairspray on the bed, or Elmers purple glue stick on the bed..

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Voxelabs Proxima SLA. 6 inch 2k Mono LCD.

That seems to have worked. I was so used to not having to use glue with the XYZ firmware that I forgot about it. Printing perfectly now!

Have you done all your basic calibration? Like extruder steps per mm?

Glad to hear that repetier is working on the new 1.0A model. I also am right on the fence of flashing mine. Was just concerned about reading online that it was not working properly with the 1.0A 3F10A.
Which version did you use? Thanks Dave

Re: Repetier problems on 1.0a

I just flashed my xyz da Vinci 1.0 AiO and I'm trying to print PLA
I seem to have got jammed and extruder feed wheels jammed I cleared jam and cleaned wheels but now I can't get wheels to turn again

I love repetier so far much better firmware and first hack too super excited and feeling a bit lost

Re: Repetier problems on 1.0a

Hello everybody,

Please, please help me:

I have a DA VINCI 1.0 AIO, I tried to make a firmware downgrade from 1.2 to 1.1.3 by bossac, my printer still not working.
How can I solve this isuue.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Repetier problems on 1.0a

using bossac with stock FW on AiO  / 1.0A/ 2.0A make printer unusable because FW is encrypted for these printers

Contact support or flash repetier

Re: Repetier problems on 1.0a

Just installed repetier 0.91 on my davinci 1.0a  with win 10 could not install 0.92  Anyway after install can not move z axis up.  Have tried setting home position to max, -200 200 inverting the z axis.  Seems to me i'm on the limit switch and it is inverted.
Did anyone else have this problem after making the switch.  Ya I did not think to home all axis BEFORE SHORTING J37  even reverting to the stock firmware has the same problem.
If I knew which connectors were for the limit switches I would switch them but short of tearing down the whole machine...
Can somebody help.

Re: Repetier problems on 1.0a

you have 1.0A this behaviour happen when you use 1.0 FW. 0.91 is not for 1.0A, only 0.92 support it
I see you can revert back to stock FW, it means you use 1.0 FW and not 1.0A FW
It means also you use wrong setting in configuration in repetier
Be sure you set MODEL 1 in repetier (change / save / close / reopen to verify change is done) before flashing
