I really like PrintrBot's stuff.  I met and talked to Brook a couple of times at Maker Faires and he's a pretty cool dude.

But I'm not sure if this printer is worth 5K.  From the photos is looks huge, but technically, 2 cubic feet (assuming it has the same dimensions in all 3 axis is only 15"x15"x15".   Only 3" bigger all around than a cubic foot printer.

And there are plenty cubic foot printers on the market under 1K.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...

...and too much time on my hands.

yeah cubic is different than 2x2x2. that 3rd dimension is a multiplier of square feet. kind same confusion that carpet flooring had when first introduced. My grandpas business sold flooring also and customers that where not familiar with buying fabric though they would get more size than they did too.

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs
