Anyone try this yet? I have been playing with some 1 part UV Resin (plus I have normal 2 part resin) for making jewelry and so forth etc. I am wondering how well just coating a 3D print in a thin layer of resin would work. I'll have to give it a try and report back if I can stand the frustration of getting my old Solidoodle 2 to print right, or if I just dig up an old print. Biggest issue I anticipate is that the resins I use are fairly thin so I will have to work in thin layers and rotate the item the best I can to fight gravity.
