Topic: Exporting real furniture to modeling program

Hey Everyone!

I've got one question and I'd be really thankful for help.

First of all I'm really interested in 3D-printing.
And anybody knows if its maybe possible somehow to export the furniture to the modeling program?

I mean about real furniture for example from my room, by using the application or making a picture, I also have heard about new technologies to create the model by taking pictures ??
Have you ever heard about it ? If yes what kind of programs I can use for it?? for example maybe its also possible by mobile phone ??

Re: Exporting real furniture to modeling program

If you have a Xbox Kinect sensor (If not, you can get them really cheap on ebay), you can use either Skanect or ReconstructMe, and scan an entire room.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
SD3 printer w/too many mods,  Printrbot Simple Maker Ed.,  FormLabs Form 1+
AnyCubic Photon, Shining 3D EinScan-S & Atlas 3D scanners...
...and too much time on my hands.
