Topic: Storing filament

What is the best practice to store filament spools? I just got a big airtight container from Wally world and I just throw in the container one of those mini dehumidifier:

I have a couple so I just plan to rotate when the pink show up.... will I be ok with this setup?
Thx in advance

Re: Storing filament

I grabbed a container from the infernal Wally world as well. But I use this instead. Rechargeable with no batteries or electronics to fail.

That should work, but I personally think a dehumidifier is a bit overkill. Maybe it's just me. smile

Printit Mason and Printit Horizon printers
Multiple SD2s- Bulldog XL, E3D v5/v6/Lite6, Volcano, Hobb Goblin, Titan, .9 motor, Lawsy carriages, direct Y drive, fishing line...the list goes on
Filawinder and Filastruder #1870.....worth every penny!

Re: Storing filament

Maybe overkill you're right, it's just that I bought 2 4 packs of those to use in my Keezer for like 40$ ( one of those Amazon lightning deal) per pack... Found out 2 at a time in the keezer is good enough so I just had some laying around doing nothing... so I tought better put em to work!
